FTA will host a webinar 1:00-2:00 p.m. CT Thursday, September 28, 2023, to review how two agencies established frameworks to produce and maintain quality asset data.
The webinar will feature presentations from Dan Hofer, Director of Capital Assets and Project Controls for the Utah Transit Authority (UTA), as well as Justin Barclay, Transit Asset Management Program Manager, and Mariyana Tozeva, Asset Management Coordinator, both for the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). Dan will focus on UTA’s incorporation of a software solution for facility inspections. Justin and Mariyana will discuss their Inventory Data Maintenance Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the challenges that led MTA to create them as a solution.
The Creating the Foundation for Quality Asset Data webinar is part of the webinar series that FTA hosts to address important topics relating to TAM. TAM is an essential practice for providing safer, more reliable transit service nationwide while helping lower operating costs.
