FTA\u2019s Transit Workforce Center Launches the Apprenticeship Transit Training Innovators Network (ATTAIN)<\/h2>\n

FTA\u2019s Transit Workforce Center<\/a> recently launched the American Transit Training Apprenticeship Innovators Network, or ATTAIN initiative<\/a>, to focus on developing apprenticeships for frontline positions. Transit agencies interested in starting or expanding an apprenticeship program will connect with transit leaders running successful programs and advance their efforts to bring in new talent. Any transit agency with an interest in starting an apprenticeship or already have experience offering apprenticeships can join.<\/p>\n

The ATTAIN initiative advances the goals of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law<\/a> by helping create good-paying union jobs and supporting economic growth.<\/p>\n

The TWC provides technical assistance in support of public transportation workforce development needs to recruit, hire, train, and retain the diverse workforce. For more information on the ATTAIN initiative or technical assistance with workforce development, email the TWC<\/a>.<\/p>\n
