Published on: <\/strong><\/em>March 22, 2022<\/em><\/p>\n On April 18, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued initial guidance<\/a> on implementation of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), which was enacted as Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. L. 117-58. Federal agencies, including FTA, will begin implementing BABA on May 14, 2022.<\/p>\n The U.S. Department of Transportation will be issuing more information regarding implementation of the requirements in the near future.<\/p>\n
