Published on: <\/strong>September 6, 2022<\/em><\/p>\n FTA recently published the Transit Bus Operator Temporary Barrier to Reduce COVID-19 Exposure Report<\/a> as part of the FTA Standards Development Program<\/a>. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, transit agencies across the U.S. implemented temporary measures to protect transit workers. This report demonstrates how a physical temporary barrier between the front and rear passenger compartment of a transit bus reduces the COVID-19 exposure risk for operators and passengers.
