The waiver makes certain partially compliant vehicles eligible for funding. The waiver will last two years, or until a fully compliant vehicle becomes available, whichever is sooner.<\/p>\n<p>FTA also will discuss changes coming for construction materials purchases. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law requires Federal grants for infrastructure projects to begin applying Buy America to construction materials. DOT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2022\/05\/25\/2022-11195\/temporary-waiver-of-buy-america-requirements-for-construction-materials\">temporarily waived<\/a> this new requirement until November 10, 2022, and the DOT waiver is set to expire soon.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Buy America: Waiver for Vanpool Vehicles &amp;
