The COVID-19 pandemic worsened existing supply chain issues, making it harder for the transit industry to procure everything from minivans to seat covers.<\/p>\n Join FTA\u2019s Office of Acquisition Management staff on Tuesday, December 13, at a webinar\u00a0<\/a>that will provide an overview of third-party contracting and procurement practices and suggestions on how to tackle challenging procurement issues. FTA staff will suggest ways to minimize confusion around escalating item and service costs while providing best practices for the pre-solicitation, solicitation, and post-solicitation phases of the procurement process, including the best ways to structure solicitations.<\/p>\n The 1 p.m. CT webinar will also include a question-and-answer session.
