Published on: <\/strong><\/em>March 17, 2023<\/em><\/p>\n In recent months, several transit stakeholders have asked FTA to clarify recipients\u2019 authority to amend the prices of existing contracts or to structure their contracts using advance or progress payments.<\/p>\n FTA has published guidance, in the form of frequently asked questions<\/a>, to respond to these questions.<\/p>\n Additionally, FTA advises recipients to consult the Procurement Standards of the Uniform Administrative Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CFR 200.317-200.327)<\/a> and FTA\u2019s Circular 4220, Third-Party Contracting Guidance<\/a>, for further information.<\/p>\n Recipients with questions about the requirements that apply to their federally funded procurements should contact their respective FTA regional offices<\/a>.<\/p>\n Links:<\/strong> Read the guidance here. <\/p>","protected":false},"author":631,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
