Published on: <\/strong><\/em>March 31, 2023<\/em><\/p>\n FTA today announced the availability of $8.9 million<\/a> in Fiscal Year 2023 competitive grant funding to support transit services for American Indian tribes and Alaska Native villages in rural areas.<\/p>\n The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, signed into law by President Biden in November 2021, increased competitive funding for the Tribal Transit Program<\/a> by nearly 83% per year for five years. This is the second consecutive year of increased funding for the program through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.<\/p>\n Instructions for applying can be found on and in GRANTS.GOV<\/a> (FTA-2023-010-TPM-TRIBAL).
