FTA is providing two opportunities this spring as part of its support of Tribal transit systems nationwide<\/h2>\n

To provide a one-stop shop for technical assistance for Tribal leaders and Tribal organizations, the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and FTA will co-host a Tribal Transit Symposium<\/a> on May 24-25, 2023 in Oklahoma City. The two-day learning opportunity will include information on initiating transit programs on Tribal lands and technical assistance to expand and improve existing Tribal transit systems. Session leaders will discuss tips for submitting DOT and FTA grant applications, including eligibility and reporting requirements. The symposium will also provide ample opportunities for participants to provide feedback at a listening session focused on improving FTA\u2019s Tribal Transit Program.<\/p>\n
