Please indicate your agency’s interest in a potential 2023-2024 Leadership Training Program.
The Leadership Training Program (LTP) enhances leadership skills and competencies to advance management and succession planning within Minnesota rural, tribal, and small urban transit agencies.
Completing the survey does not obligate you to participate; at this time, we are gauging interest. However, the program will only happen with enough interest from transit agencies, so please consider if this is something you and/or your staff can commit to.
Past LTP participants may be able to participate if they would be in a different training level this time around. There will also be opportunities for past participants to support the program as graduates of the first program.
Location: Training locations will be different each month and will be hosted by rural transit agencies. Locations are estimated to be no more than 2 hours outside of the Metro Area, but if location is a concern that would prevent you or your team from participating, please reach out and we can see what we can do.
Duration: 8–12 months, likely beginning in the fall/early winter of 2023
Executives and Managers Commitment:
- 2 full days of in-person training every other month
- 1 hour of virtual coaching every other month (alternate months from training sessions)
- 1 hour virtual peer networking group every other month
- Some pre-work and assessments
Supervisors/Lead Drivers Commitment:
- 2–3 training sessions spaced out over 8–11 months, likely 1–2 days
- Possible 1–2 sessions of 1-hour coaching
- Possible peer networking
- Possible assessments
