Expired FTA Drug & Alcohol Regulations, Issues, and Updates Training Session (Baxter)

MNDOT is hosting a FTA 1-Day Drug and Alcohol Program Management training at two separate locations in October 2023. The training is identical for each location so you only need to attend one. Coffee and light breakfast snacks and a lunch will be provided. More information on the lunch will be provided in early October. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles. Beverage and snack vending machines available onsite.
 Location/Parking: MNDOT’s District Office, 7694 Industrial Park Road, Baxter MN 56425 – Park in South MNDOT employee parking lot only.

Overview: The one-day seminar is designed to provide essential facts and information to facilitate employers’ compliance with FTA’s 49 CFR Part 655 and USDOT’s 49 CFR Part 40. While a high-level overview of the regulations will be discussed, this seminar will focus more on the operational side of a transit agency’s functions. The training will be led by a FTA Drug and Alcohol Program Compliance Audit team member.
Who Should Attend: Transit employer’s drug and alcohol program managers, designated employer representatives (DERs), human resource managers, safety/compliance managers, operations managers, and third parties or service agents with responsibilities to administer/manage a DOT regulated drug and alcohol program.
