2026 Leadership Training Program (LTP) Open for Registration!

About this Program: The Leadership Training Program is designed for Minnesota rural and tribal public transit systems to enhance leadership skills and competencies to advance leadership and management within their organization.There are three levels of the LTP: executive/transit director, manager/operations manager, and supervisor/lead driver. Registration Deadline: December 5, 2025

Location/Venue: MnDOT St. Cloud Training Center, 3725 12th St. N., St. Cloud, MN, 56303.

Each level will participate in 6 two-day training sessions and receive 1-hour coaching sessions and participate in a 1-hour peer networking group every other month along with some pre-work and assignments.

Hotel block information will be provided to registrants prior to the training.

Agencies receiving FTA section 5311 or 5307 funding and tribal transit agencies are eligible to attend. Coffee/light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging costs, but scholarships from RTAP may be available to help with costs.
