Apply by 3/9–FTA Seeks Members for the Transit Advisory Committee for Safety

The March 9, 2022 deadline to apply to be a Transit Advisory Committee for Safety (TRACS) member is quickly approaching! FTA will select up to 25 qualified individuals interested in serving on TRACS for a two-year term. TRACS provides information, advice and recommendations about transit safety to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation and the FTA Administrator.
Applicants be knowledgeable of trends and issues related to rail transit and/or bus transit safety. Along with their experience in the rail transit and/or bus transit industry, applicants will also be evaluated and selected based on factors including leadership and organizational skills, region of the country represented, diversity characteristics and overall balance of industry representation.
