Certified Safety and Security Officer (CSSO) Training

Requirements: Recommended for safety and security officers and operations managers. Required once; recertification every 3 years.

Description: Accident investigation, emergency management, system wide safety and security tools and requirements and FTA’s guidance on transit threat levels. Goal for the training is to understand required safety and security policies, using the required forms and best practices used by similar agencies. (Course #4000)
