ELDT Working Group Receives Management Innovation Award

The efforts of the ELDT Working Group was recognized at the Minnesota Public Transit Conference hosted by the Minnesota Public Transit Association (MPTA) on October 24-26 in St. Cloud.
The group, lead by RTAP, was awarded the Management Innovation Award for developing a training curriculum that all Minnesota transit agencies can use to be compliant with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)’s new Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements that went into effect February 7, 2022. National RTAP is now sharing the resource with other states, and Minnesota has been mentioned at national conferences as an example of excellence.
