FTA Announces Request for Information on the Capital Investment Grants Program

Published on: July 23, 2021

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) today published a Request for Information (RFI) to receive input from the public on improvements that could be made to the evaluation process for projects seeking funding from the Capital Investment Grants (CIG) Program.

Transit stakeholder input is critically important in identifying evaluation measures and data sources that can better capture the benefits and costs of transit and how the CIG program can facilitate outcomes that maximize those benefits for the transit community. Through this RFI, FTA will solicit public input to help inform FTA’s development of future CIG processes and procedures.

Comments should be submitted on or before October 13, 2021.
