FTA Posts Fact Sheets Highlighting Programmatic Changes Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
FTA has posted fact sheets for transit agencies, recipients of federal funding, and other transit stakeholders to provide detailed information about planned implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. President Biden signed the legislation, which authorizes up to $108 billion, including $91 billion in guaranteed funding for public transportation, on November 15.
The fact sheets include information on fiscal year funding allocations, statutory references, eligible recipients, eligible activities, as well as details on new programs or changes to existing programs.
FTA also will conduct webinars and additional outreach in the coming weeks and months to solicit input and support the implementation of this historic investment in public transportation.
