The Federal Transit Administration (FTA)-sponsored National Rural Transit Assistance Program (National RTAP) will host a webinar on February 28, 2024, to highlight the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Transportation Coverage Guide, which outlines the agency’s new comprehensive guidance for the provision of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). The Guide provides many items of note for transit agencies seeking to provide Medicaid NEMT.
This session will review key elements in the Guide, what it means for public transit, and how it can be a tool for transit agencies and State DOTs.
