NOW AVAILABLE: FTA PTASP TAC Update —Week of November 1

The Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) Technical Assistance Center (TAC) update is now available. Read this week’s updates focused on recent questions from transit agencies about the PTASP regulation (49 CFR Part 673).

FTA recently published a PTASP survey for transit agencies and States and State Safety Oversight Agencies (SSOAs). Complete the survey by November 24, 2021.

Additionally, a new featured resource includes the Accessing and Using Safety and Security Event Data Guide that reviews how to access National Transit Database Safety and Security data to support a transit agency’s safety performance measurement activities and benchmarking efforts.
