FTA recently published the Over-the-Counter and Prescription Drug Use in the Public Transit Industry Report as part of the FTA Standards Development Program. The FTA-sponsored report identifies gaps that exist in current standards, recommended practices, and guidance documents for prescription and over-the-counter medication. It also presents findings to FTA to consider for future updates to prescription and over-the-counter medication risk management.
