RECORDING NOW AVAILABLE: Developing Community-Based Public Safety Programs for Transit Webinar

On December 14, 2023, FTA hosted the Developing Community-Based Public Safety Programs for Transit webinar. Attendees heard from Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) about how community-based public safety programs can address public safety concerns and improve the rider experience. SEPTA, COTA and LA Metro shared their experiences establishing a community-based program, including best practices and lessons learned.
