REMINDER: FTA Joint State Safety Oversight and Rail Transit Agency Workshop Registration Deadline October 14; Hotel Block Extended to October 7

If you haven’t already, please register for the FTA Joint State Safety Oversight (SSO) and Rail Transit Agency (RTA) Workshop! Registration closes on Friday, October 14 at 4:00pm CT. The SSO and RTA Workshop will be held from, October 25-27, 2022. This year, the workshop will be hybrid at the Westin Washington, DC City Center, offering both an in-person and virtual option.

The last day to reserve a hotel room as part of the FTA Joint SSO and RTA workshop hotel block at a discounted government rate has been extended to Friday, October 7. FTA encourages in-person attendees to register by October 7 and take advantage of the room block discount at the workshop hotel.

The workshop brings SSO staff and RTA safety officers together to participate in FTA-led sessions on rail transit system safety, oversight responsibilities, Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan technical assistance and other FTA safety policy updates.
