NOW AVAILABLE: Draft Agenda for FTA SSO RTA Hybrid Workshop

The draft agenda for the FTA Joint State Safety Oversight (SSO) and Rail Transit Agency (RTA) Workshop is now available!

Registration closes on Friday, October 14 at 5:00pm EST. The SSO and RTA Workshop will be held from, October 25- 27, 2022. This year, the workshop will be hybrid at the Westin Washington, D.C. City Center, offering both an in-person and virtual option.

The last day to reserve a hotel room as part of the workshop hotel block at a discounted government rate will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022. FTA encourages in-person attendees to register by September 27 and take advantage of the room block at the workshop hotel.

The workshop brings SSO staff and RTA safety officers to participate in FTA-led sessions on rail transit system safety, oversight responsibilities, Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan technical assistance and other FTA safety policy updates.
