REMINDER: Apply to Be a TRACS Member

The FTA Transit Advisory Committee for Safety (TRACS) Charter is reestablished. Qualified individuals interested in serving as TRACS members for a two-year term can apply by March 9, 2022. TRACS provides information, advice and recommendations on transit safety determined by the Secretary of Transportation and the FTA Administrator.
Applicants should know trends and issues related to rail transit and/or bus transit safety. Along with their experience in the rail transit and/or bus transit industry, applicants will also be evaluated and selected based on factors including leadership and organizational skills, region of the country represented, diversity characteristics and overall balance of industry representation.
