TRB Webinar: Improving Bus Stops through Transit Agency Relationships

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) will conduct a free webinar from 1-2:30 p.m. ET Tuesday, September 21, 2021, that features research findings to make better bus stops and improve the pedestrian environment for all riders, improving equity in transit systems. The webinar will focus on the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP)’s Synthesis Report 152: Transit Agency Relationships and Initiatives to Improve Bus Stops and Pedestrian Access.

During the webinar, presenters will illustrate how agencies prioritize bus stops for improvements, discuss program leadership and funding, and describe relationships with other public and private entities. They will also explain how to leverage opportunities to improve bus stops and pedestrian infrastructure. Speakers include:
